Hydrocephalus

Hydrocephalus:
- Occur after subarachnoid or intra-ventricular hemorrhage impair CSF reabsorptionat at the level of the arachnoid granulations or obstruction at the level of the aqueduct or fourth ventricle outflow foramina.
- mass effect can obstruct aqeduct or outflow foramina of the fourth ventricle
- asymmetrical lateral ventricle result from obstruction of the foramen of Monro
