Differential Diagnosis 
  • Febrile and nonfebrile causes.
Miliary TB
  • Seen With primary progressive or secondary TB
  • Hematogenous speed
  • Usually in persons with low immunity

 Multiple 2-3mm noudules
Diffuse nodular interstitial pattern



Arrows show tree in bud appearance- normally seen with infectious processes
 
  • Fungal Infection- histoplasmosis.
  • Metastatic disease: renal, thyroid, testicular.
  • Sarcoid.
  • Silicosis.
